Discography, Örjan Strandberg:

The records I've made over the years are quite a strange blend.

I started the progrock band 'Dice' sometime in 1973 together with Leif Larson, collegue & brother-in-law, along with Per Andersson and Fredrik Vildö. We actually only recorded one studio album; the LP "Dice", which was released in 1978. Our leadsinger on that record was Robert Holmin, eventually engaged by Folkoperan. Anyway, by the end of the 80's, we kept getting repeated requests for records from abroad. That came to result in a japanese record company - Belle Epoque - internationally releasing our studio album, plus two more(!) on CD. Dice also released a sort of "punk" single for fun under the alias "Kramp" (Cramp). The hit was called "Yf". Didn't sell at all.

During this period I was signed as songwriter, with music publisher Peer Music. Peer, me and my friends in former Dice; Leif & Per, invented a pop group called Jet Set, committed to take on the musical legacy of ABBA. We had two singles out in 1979-1980. I think we were OK.

During first half of the 80's, I worked with my childhood friend Christian Veltman producing a record for children; "Grönsakernas Hemliga Liv" (the secret life of vegetables). CBS released the LP album in 1986.

What is at present my only solo album is "The saga of the nordic Gods" released by Phono Suecia in -93. The music is an orchestral suite on nordic mythology, 50 minutes in duration. It also served as the musical score for Jan Krilands laser performance "Aurora Borealis", performed in Montreal in 1992.

My work as an external record producer has been occasional. One of my productions is The World Youth Choir featuring leadsingers Tommy Körberg and Vicky Benckert, dated 1989. The song "All up to you" was a kind of opening single for their upcoming world tour. I also produced Richard Herrey's comeback singel in 1990, plus a couple of tracks on the Herrey Bros' EP in 1992. For Monika Lilja's CD album from 1994 I produced three tracks.

I also wrote and produced all the music for the scandinavian CD's and cassettes of Enid Blyton's "Famous five".
